What's up friend? It is so, so good to see you here. To have you tuning into another episode of the God Empowered Entrepreneur Podcast. I want to pour into you this week. At the beginning of a new week where I know our minds are full of ideas, thoughts, anxiety, stress, a never ending to-do list, and everything in between. I wanna pour into you with a simple fact that we often forget, overlook, underplay, or don't focus on enough, and that fact my friend. Is that nothing is impossible with God. Let that fact, that phrase, that biblical verse marinate in your spirit right now. There is absolutely nothing that is impossible for God to do, for God to create, for God, to change, for God, to pivot, for God, to show up in, for God to open, for God to close. For God to move. There is nothing that he can't do now. Yes, we know this. It's in the back, in our subconscious mind somewhere, but we forget it. How do I know that You forget it. Well, because you are human. I forget. Because I'm human. And what we talk a lot about on these episodes is how difficult it is to see beyond our worldly viewpoint of things. When we live in a world where we're surrounded by our problems, we're constantly consumed by our chaotic thoughts, by a nervous spirit, by our anxiety, our fears, our insecurities that refuse to ever go away when we're so clouded by that. It becomes really difficult to remember to trust in and to believe in the very real fact that nothing is impossible with God. And I wanna talk about this today for a few reasons. First, I myself need to remember it. And the way that I see this podcast is that it's not just me preaching to you and pouring into you. Yes, I love to do that. That's great. I feel called to this and my hope is that these episodes are moving you and planting a seed for your transformation. But. These episodes are also here for us to be on a journey together. Have I learned a lot and am I sharing my learnings, my experiences, what I know? Yes. With you? Absolutely, but I am also still learning. I also still go through it and a lot of times we listen to these episodes or we're a part of programs, or we see these experts online and we just think they got it all together. We think they got it all figured out. Do they know a lot? Sure. Can we learn a lot from them? Absolutely. But my friend, everyone goes through their stuff and sometimes you just need someone to tell you, Hey, I go through it too. I'm not perfect. I've been where you're at. I am where you are. But we key word. We can overcome this together with God leading the way of our individual lives. Another reason why I want to talk about this is because it's necessary, given the amount of questions and fears that I have been hearing from people lately in conversation in social media, dms in talks with my students and for good reason. We get scared, we get insecure, we're not sure, and a lot of times we just wanna hide, hold back, hesitate, or push it off to another day. Or never end up taking a step at all. And all of the reasons why is because we forget that there is nothing that God can't do nothing. We're so clouded by our logistics, by what feels so heavy and real and emotional, that little do we know it is suffocating us. It is deep in our ears to the point where we cannot hear, we cannot think. We cannot remember. God has got us and that there's nothing he can't do. So if you're listening and if there's something that God has been calling you to do but you're scared or there's something that you're really struggling with right now, mentally, emotionally, and you don't see a way out. Or maybe you are in a financial circumstance, you're worried about money, you're worried about certain choices that you would make and your finances being impacted. You're worried about the budget you have. You're worried about not being able to pay your bills next month, whatever financial circumstance that is. This episode is also for you. No matter where you are, where you're listening to this episode or what season of life you are in, please breathe. Have a sense of relief in the very real fact. Nothing is impossible for God. When we finally believe that our fear, our insecurities, our worries, our stress, it divinely diminishes because holding tight to the belief that God can do anything in our lives. He can show up in any way. He can change, he can pivot, he can move anything in our lives. Trusting in that means we no longer trust in the worries that we have. Because my friend, I'm sorry to tell you this, but you really can't do both. You can't trust God and trust your worries at the same time because trust is gonna lack in one area and you gotta pick whichever one that is. I don't know about you, but for me, I prefer to work on trusting God and therefore my lack, entrusting my worries, being very, very, very present. And I'm sure that you can relate to that too, a really clear sign. Of you believing and knowing and trusting that God can do anything, that nothing is impossible with him in your life, in your calling, in your home, in your health, and everything in between, is that you're no longer questioning things. You're no longer obsessing over the hows or the whens. You're no longer pointing a finger at God, telling him when and how and what about this, and you're no longer allowing thoughts like that. To cloud your mind throughout every minute of the day. Why? Because you trust God. If you trust God, then there's no need to question him. Now, yes, questions are gonna come up. You're human, though. Stress or the worries are gonna tug at your heart. Again, you're human, but how quick are you to bounce back and to allow your spirit to rise up beyond your emotions, beyond your thoughts? And remember, God's got it. There's nothing that is impossible with him. He can do anything. Now, I wanna talk about some misconceptions here. When it comes to nothing is impossible with God, first misconception is that sometimes people take that Bible verse, they take that fact, and they use that as an excuse for them to be lazy. Sorry if that hits you. Sometimes we need to hear that. You can't just sit on the sidelines saying, you know what? It's all gonna be good. Nothing is impossible with God. I'm just gonna chill and sit back. There are moments for stillness, yes, but there is a difference between stillness, spiritual stillness, and straight up laziness. You cannot use the excuse that God's got it and that nothing is impossible for him, and he's gonna come through right here, right now while you're just sitting on the sidelines doing nothing and waiting for him to do it. Why? Because your effort matters too. Your faith matters too. God wants to partner with you. He wants to lead your life while you steward your life. And my friend. You cannot steward your life from the sidelines. You cannot sit there. Using laziness as an excuse for you waiting on God. So yes, believe that he will show up in your life. Believe that something will change. Believe that nothing is impossible for him. Believe that he can surprise you and bless you more than you could ever imagine. But my friend, do not sit on the sidelines and watch him do it. Partner with him, walk with him. Steward your gifts. Put in effort. Try and try again. When you get down, you get up. When you get down, have a little emotional moment. We all need those. And then my friend, you gotta get up now on the other end, there's this misconception of believing that nothing is impossible for God, but you have that mentality. With the wrong motives. You believe that God is gonna bless you with a mansion. You believe that God is gonna bless you with a million dollars. You believe that you're gonna be able to own five different cars one day. You believe that you're gonna have 30 real estate properties one day, and you believe that your business is gonna get you to speak on stages that reach millions of people. These are all great, but what's the motive? Because when you're leading with that motive and the intentionality for God to bless you, materialistically, to bless you when it comes to your status and that takes lead in your motives, then my friend, your heart position needs to be slightly re-pod. Now let me explain. Wealth is not a bad thing. It's what you do with that wealth. It's your motives behind it. For example, are you wanting to focus on getting wealthy and being financially free just for yourself, or do you have the motive of doing that so that you have money to bless other people? There is a difference in what is leading your motives behind your ambitions, behind your prayers. So when you pray, God, I want you to show up for me in this way, and you believe God, you can do the impossible. I believe that you can. I believe that you will. Absolutely he can. Absolutely he will. But he's also gonna look at your motive. He's also gonna look at your heart's position. That is important, and that plays a big role in how you show up in your partnership with God, how you show up in your role of being a steward while he leads your life. So when you believe that nothing is impossible with God. Don't use that as an excuse to sit on the sidelines and be lazy. But on the other end, when you believe that nothing is impossible with God, don't have the wrong motive when it comes to your prayers, your desires, and him showing up for you to do the impossible. And I need to express that towards the beginning of this episode because a lot of times we take the Bible outta context, it says one thing, and we read that and we're like, yep. Going with it. It says there's nothing God can't do. Yes, that's true. But are you reading the context? Are you reading the verses around it? Are you understanding it? Are you aligning it to previous stories and the New Testament? Because at the end of the day, they all connect, and if you're not doing that, you're missing out on the depths of the power that comes with the reality of God doing the impossible. What that means for your life. Now, here's the thing I could pour into you all day saying, yeah, remember that nothing is impossible with God. But it's so hard for us to cling to that and to remember to believe that tomorrow and the next day and the next day after that because we just forget because life hits us because we're just in it and we're feeling all the things. And oftentimes our emotions surpass reality. Our emotions surpass spiritual reality. Our emotions surpass God's truth. It takes lead in our life when God's truth should be taking lead in our lives. So how can we get better at remembering that nothing is impossible with God, that he can do anything, that He's got us, that we will be okay, that he has surprises for us around the corner. That if we just let him lead and we steward, we can trust him with everything and he can do anything beyond what we could ever think, feel, or imagine. How do we remember that First thing that I'll say to that my friend? Think about all that he's done in your past, what he's brought you through, what he's helped you achieve, what he's. Healed you through how he's grown you, the blessings you weren't expecting. The divine stories that don't even make sense. You know the ones where you're like, man, I don't even know how that happened because I wasn't equipped. I wasn't expecting that, but it happened and it blew my mind. Those kinds of stories. Sometimes we just need to reflect on that. You listening to this episode, I know that you're an ambitious person. I know that you have a lot of dreams. I know that you have a lot of goals, and that's great. That's a good quality. But when we are so ambitious, a trait in that is constantly moving on to the next thing. We accomplish one thing. We normalize that, oh, okay, yep, we accomplished it, and then we're onto the next, and then the next and then the next. And all of a sudden we find ourselves in this constantly going through the motions of goal after goal. After goal. And when we do that, we are so focused on the future that we forget about any past accomplishments or we don't give past accomplishments enough credit. We don't praise God or remember to praise him and remember to thank him for all the previous things that he did. Why? Because we're on to the next. How can we do a better job at remembering all that he's done before? If he did it before he can and he will do it again. It's worth remembering. It's worth reflecting on and I know for me, when I remember that, when I reflect on that, it gives me hope. When hope feels lost, it reminds me, wait a minute. I don't need to let this stress, my anxiety take over right now. I don't need to let all these questions about how or when. Take over right now. Because when I had those questions before, now that I look back on it, they were pointless'cause God took care of it. I didn't need to ask the how, when, why, or what, because he took care of it. As long as I stewarded it, I walked with him. I learned to trust him. He took care of it. He was there. He opened doors. He made sure I was okay. Nothing is impossible for him. Even the doors that didn't make sense. He was right there opening them for me to walk through, and he does the exact same thing for you. Remember, reflect, have a moment of just closing your eyes and meditating on that, because sometimes taking a few minutes of doing that is what we need to give us that hope again. Next thing that I'll say, think about all the stories in the Bible where God showed up. Where God came through, where God literally did what felt and what seemed impossible. Story after story, book after book, chapter after chapter. I know that when you read the Bible, we're just kind of reading it, right? Like verse afterwards. Okay. Yep. Well, we learned that. Oh, okay, cool. But we gotta go deeper. What was this really like back then? Sometimes I will take a chapter and I'll paint a movie in my head. I won't just read the verse. I'll think about the emotions behind it. I think about the side conversations that might have been happening in that Bible verse. I, I think about the effects of it, the impact, the history, the context around it. I think a lot about that stuff, and honestly, I wanna do that more and more because it hits you different when you do. It aligns to this season of your life when you do. Yes, a Bible story that was all the way, way back then can relate to the current season that you are in right here, right now. But you, my friend, have to do the work to read it in depth. Abraham, Sarah, Jonah, David, all the disciples. I, I, I literally could go on and on. If God came through for them, what makes you think he wouldn't come through for you As long as it is in alignment with his will for your life, what makes you think that he won't do the same for you? God is the same. Today, tomorrow, and forever. These aren't just stories we're reading in a fiction book. This is Truth, this Happened, and when you believe that, when you hold that near and dear to your heart, then you know. That God, the same God that came through for them is the same God that can come through for you, the same God that will take care of you, the same God that has a future for you, that same God that can do the impossible. Lastly. Think about how much God loves you. Oh my friend, he loves you. We forget this. We forget that we are all so loved beyond the phrase, I love you. It is well beyond that to the point where it is unexplainable. How much he loves you. If he loves you, he will take care of you. If he loves you, there's nothing he won't do for you as long as it is in alignment with his will for your life. He has not forgotten you. He has not pushed you to the sides. He does not care for others more than he cares for you. He loves us all the same. Now sometimes. We just gotta take it a little bit deeper and pull up truth, pull up the good word to be reminded of just how good our God is. And specifically what I'm talking about right now, how much he loves you. Romans eight, chapter 38, for I am convinced that neither death nor love, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God. That is in Christ Jesus our Lord. We got Isaiah 54 10 though the mountains be shaken and the hills be removed, yet my unfailing love for you will not be shaken, nor my covenant of peace be removed, says the Lord, who has compassion on you. Psalm 86 15. You Lord are a compassionate and gracious God, slow to anger, abounding in love and faithfulness. Those were just three. There are countless verses in the Bible that remind you of how much you are loved and when we remember how loved we are. Then we remember how taken care of we are, and when we remember how taken care of we are, then our worldly fears, concerns stress that ain't got nothing on God. So why do we let it? Why do we let it take power in our lives? Why do we let it take us all the way down? Why do we let it ruin our days? Why do we let it diminish our calling? Why do we let it cause us to hide to hesitate? To not be at peace, to not be joyful. Why do we let it? When God is right there watching you, waiting for you to remember, and to believe in your spirit with your heart, that nothing is impossible for him, and that he's there. He's there. He is there, my friend. So whether you needed that reminder today in your creative calling, in your business building journey. In your financial struggle, in your financial success, in the open door that you are waiting on in the closed door that you are waiting on, whatever it is, remember that nothing is impossible with him. I hope this was encouraging for you today. Remember, this isn't just a reminder or a heart check for you. I'm in this with you. I really am, and I'm a huge believer that we can overcome anything. When God is on our side and my friend, oh my goodness, he is on your side. Even if it doesn't feel like it, even if it doesn't seem like it, even when things don't make sense, even when you don't understand, he is on your side. He knows what he is doing. Let's work on trusting that more and more every day. Thank you so much for tuning in. It means so much to have you as a dedicated listener of these episodes. If you feel like this episode could be pouring into someone that you know, a family member, friend, colleague, then feel free to share it their way. I would love for this to be an encouraging pick me up that they just might need today. Thanks for watching, and I'll see you next week for another episode.
